The Black Feathers (18+ ONLY)
This event has already taken place.
Experience the “magical” chemistry of The Black Feathers, an award-winning duo featuring married singer-songwriters Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler. Whether they are performing original “gloriously sad ear-worms” or inventive covers like their “sassy” take on Portishead’s “Glory Box,” their profound stage chemistry and “telepathic understanding” provide an intimate and “riveting” live experience. Currently residing in Wales, this talented pair seamlessly blends Americana, Folk, and Acoustic Indie Rock sensibilities into a “genre-defying” sound that feels both modern and ancient. Described as “stunning harmonies” reminiscent of Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, their music captures a “Country-got-Soul beauty” that wraps you in their world from the very first note.
