Camrose and Camrose County A free community resource
Camrose Buzz gathers everything going on in town into one place, and writes original stories about the people who make the place what it is.
Free to read. Free to be listed in. Made and run in Camrose by two people, with no charge to browse the directory and no charge for a legitimate community event to appear in it.
Access to local information should not depend on income, social status, business size, background, race, sex, identity or personal beliefs. The events directory is open to everyone.
Legitimate community events do not pay to be included. An organisation with no budget gets the same listing as one with a marketing department.
Advertising, sponsorship and other paid opportunities may provide additional visibility. They do not decide what appears in the core community listings.
Instead of checking a dozen websites, social pages, posters and community calendars, you check one. That is the whole idea.
Camrose Buzz aims to be the most thorough, accessible and up to date collection of upcoming events in Camrose and Camrose County. If it is open to the community, it belongs on the list.
Alongside the directory, Camrose Buzz publishes original stories about the people, businesses and experiences that contribute to the character of Camrose.
They are meant to create connections, introduce people to new parts of their own community, recognise the ones contributing to life here, and sometimes just to have fun. Informative, thoughtful, entertaining, or simply something worth knowing.

We focus on the things that bring our community together, rather than the issues that divide it.
Camrose Buzz exists to serve Camrose first. Decisions are guided by what provides genuine value to the community and helps people become more informed, involved and connected locally.
A resource for everyone. Access to local information should not depend on income, social status, business size, background, race, sex, identity or personal beliefs.
We remain politically and religiously neutral. No political parties, candidates or campaigns, no religious doctrine or proselytizing, and nothing primarily intended as ideological advocacy.
Every member of the community deserves dignity and respect. We do not publish or promote content that encourages hate, discrimination, harassment or the demeaning of individuals or groups.
We make reasonable efforts to keep what we publish accurate and legitimate, and we correct it when errors or changes are identified. Submissions that appear fraudulent, misleading or predatory can be declined or removed.
Submitting something does not guarantee publication. We may edit, decline or remove content, and those decisions are made independently of advertisers, sponsors and financial supporters.
Affiliation is not disqualification. Organizations with political or religious affiliations are not automatically excluded. Their events may still be included when they are community focused, open to the broader community and provide genuine community value.
The point of all six. To support events and initiatives that encourage participation, connection and shared local experiences, rather than divisive political, religious or social debate.
Our responsibility is simple: to make it easier for people to participate in the community around them.
